Can you think of any activities that don't involve teamwork? How much are you contributing to your teams? George joked nervously as the team captains chose sides for the volleyball game. George was always the last one chosen, and this time was proving to be no exception. As the other players were chosen, George wondered why. I'm really a good player, he thought. I hit every ball close to me, and I always tell my teammates how they can play better. And that was George's problem. He was a good individual player, but he knew nothing of playing on a team. Most teams didn't want George on their side. On every missed point. the entire team braced itself for a lecture from George. Of course, whenever George missed the ball, he had an excuse.
