WASHINGTON, D.C. - Pastor General Herbert W. Armstrong flew here May 16 in the Church's G-II jet for meetings with government officials and to attend performances by the Little Ambassadors From Shanghai in the White House and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The four-city tour of the Little Ambassadors, a children's performing group from the Children's Palace in Shanghai, China, was sponsored by the Ambassador Foundation (see WN, May 21). Performances in Pasadena and San Francisco, Calif., preceded the Washington trip, and the group performed in Seattle. Wash., May 25.
