Pentecost, Acts 2, 31 A.D. was a very utterly unique in all human history such there has never been a day like it before or since. That day was and is packed with meaning and importance, for the church and for the world. Let me explain what I mean by that, what do I mean when I say that Pentecost in 31 A.D. was utterly unique? Of course, I don't mean that there weren't any other Pentecosts because Pentecost has been introduced by God and His plan, as we heard this morning in Exodus and Leviticus, nearly 1,500 years before that first New Testament Pentecost was observed. And Pentecost has been observed by God's people, an unbroken chain, I'm quite positive, for nearly 2,000 since.
