Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.

Because this message is particularly relevant to crises confronting the world today, we are reprinting it from the Aug.-Sept. 1970 PLAIN TRUTH in this commemorative issue. AFTER TWENTY-FIVE years, I returned to the historic site of the San Francisco Conference. It was the 25th anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Charter - the San Francisco Commemorative Meeting, 26th of June, 1970. Many who attended that conference, where the United Nations Charter was drawn up, are not among the living today.
