Question: Should a Believer Withdraw from lodges and Fraternal Organizations? Answer: Lodges and secret orders of this world are modern continuations of the old Babylonish system which the Bible condemns. "Come out of her, my people!" is God's command. We are not to be unequally yoked together with the world in social fellowship which is fundamentally contrary to God's laws. A person who really wants to be obedient to every word of God cannot be a part of the clubs, lodges, and other secret orders OF THIS WORLD. God commands His children to meet together, but to separate themselves from fellowship with the world. If we depend upon God we do not need the temporary pleasures of the social whirls that these fraternal organizations afford. Some lodges have immense power....
