What should you teach your children before they enter school? Should they know how to read and count? And once they are in school, how can you help them with homework and studies? MOST parents want their children to do well in school, to bring home good grades, and to be at the top of the class scholastically, if not the most outstanding student in the grade. As never before, many parents are trying to accomplish these goals for their children by enrolling them in preschool programs, hiring special tutors, or, what is even more common, trying to help their children get a head start by teaching them how to read and count at home before they enter school.
