Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.

News of the Work - THE WORLD TOMORROW broadcast is heard over hundreds of stations by many millions of people around the world ! Yet for this vast audience The World Tomorrow program begins as only a series of invisible electrical impulses in a cable leading from Mr. Ted Armstrong's recording microphone into the control room - which is adjacent to the recording studio. In the control room the program is regulated while in progress and recorded on a master tape. This warning message of the Kingdom of God is recorded and wound up on a 7" reel of magnetic tape.
