Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.

The FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE are taking their toll. Hundreds of millions the world over are suffering the tragedies of war, famine and disease pandemics. World peace has slipped through our fingers, and tomorrow isn't exactly welcome. Violent crime and "rumors of wars" are a part of our daily news. Our streets are battlegrounds. Honesty, integrity and morality have been replaced by a "do as you please" philosophy.
