Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.

We're right on the very eve of the world tomorrow and you had better know what is coming and what it all means. What about this world that we live in today? I want to tell you my friends the scientist that have been developing these great terrifying weapons of destruction are themselves very, very much frightened. They look into the future and they say that unless we can have world government there is no hope for humanity.
