Just a note to let you all know that Garner Ted Armstrong has approved several new booklet projects that will keep us busy in the department for a while. First of all we have the green light to make Jon Hill’s series of PT articles "A Tale of Two Prophets ' into a booklet. I will be sending Mr. Hill copy for final editing this week and we hope to get that off the press in 4 to 6 weeks. We’ll announce it in this report and advertise it in the PT when it's off the press.
Secondly we will be producing a new booklet on prophecy (as yet untitled) with the help of the News Bureau. This will be a basic booklet on the subject and will replace How to Understand Bible Prophecy. It will deal with questions like why prophecy?, the principal of duality, the key of Israel's identity, the surest prophecy — the return of Christ, and how to watch world news. We will be using reprinted material from articles by GTA plus new material put together by the News Bureau. This booklet is sorely needed to supplement world news analysis pieces in the PT. It will be advertised frequently in the PT and will refer people to US and BC.
We have also received permission to prepare fresh manuscripts on the Happy Marriage and Childrearing booklets for GTA's approval: Though some of the existing material (the basic stuff) will be included, there will be much new information. Since these booklets were originally written in the 5O's much new information has come to light. The new booklets will be up to date, yet they will not "water down" any of the basic material that is based upon the Bible. Of course Mr. Armstrong will do final editing and approval on all copy.
And finally I have received permission to go ahead and print a new booklet I've written called Coming — A New Age! This will not replace the Wonderful World Tomorrow booklet, it will supplement it- It contains four chapters: This Present Evil World, The Transition, The Millennium, Beyond the Millennium. That booklet is now in the layout stage and should be printed in 4 to 6 weeks. It will be announced when ready.
Of course we have many other projects in the works but limited manpower and resources limit the speed with which we can accomplish some things. Thanks for your patience and support!
