No MATTER what kind of employment you are looking for, from a summer job to a lifetime career, there are some traits an employer will be looking for not only when hiring, but also when considering you for promotion and advancement. How do you rate on this employer's scorecard? 1. Is this potential employee a person of his word" This is very high on any employer's scorecard. Too frequently promises or commitments are made with little forethought of the time, effort and sacrifice that may be required to fulfill them. If you cannot or do not plan to fulfill a commitment, don't make the pledge. But if a commitment is made, make every effort to fulfill it in its entirety.
