Shake Up Your Taste Buds! by Wendi D. Hayward - Getting in the Swing of Things by Alan Dean - Suit Yourself! by William Flaman - What Do I Say Next? by Gary Fakhoury and Lowell Wagner Jr. - Proverbs for Today - The Happiness Factor by Jim Roberts: Here's an idea guaranteed to shake up a hot and lazy evening: Get your family together and invite friends over to create some cool and creamy milk shakes. The basic recipe for these shakes is the same: one cup of ice cream and 1 1/2 cups of milk - more ice cream for thicker shakes. Also add one cup of fruit for each shake and, if you decide to use it, one-fourth to one-half teaspoon of flavoring. This will make one large milk shake. Now comes the fun part! After you've got the basic recipe, you can let your imagination run wild when you choose the rest of your ingredients. Strawberries, cut and cored apples, pears, pineapples and peaches make delicious shakes.
