Dear Diary, I had planned on attending a party in town with M. J. and her cousin Billy tonight. You guessed it - Mom and Dad have spoiled my plans again! I can't understand it. Why are my parents so protective? Just once I would love to have some freedom! I'm always sitting at home while everyone at school has fun on weekends. M. J. is so lucky. She has life just perfect. What more could anyone want? She's 18, popular, she has a new car and will be graduated in only three months! Talk about enjoying life! I'm so tired of everyone saying the parties are too "wild," with "all that drinking."
