It's been too long since you last got to ride, and you're really looking forward to it. But wait! Don't hop on the saddle just yet. Take a few minutes to give your bike a quick physical. Tires. Give them a quick check for damage and wear. Are there any bald spots? Any splitting, cracking or cuts? This could be grounds for replacing a tire. While you're at it, check for pebbles, bits of glass or anything else that may be stuck in them.
