It's only April! But, now is the time to start so you can beat the rush, There's just one week until summer! I'd better start making some plans, Bill thought. I want to get our group together and do some hiking and waterskiing. That means I'll need a new backpack and money to rent the boat. Bill thought for a moment about his low bank account and how much his summer plans were going to cost. And he had really planned to add to his college fund this summer. It looked like he'd better find a job right away. But three weeks of knocking on doors turned up only this: "I'm sorry, we have already hired our summer help this year. Why don't you try a little earlier next spring?" Bill had waited too long to apply for work.
