Her mom's challenge seemed like a good idea. But what would Cathy think after six months? Cathy was 18 when she met Don. She had finished high school and had been working for almost a year. Cathy and Don hit it off so well - they seemed right for each other in every way. The parents on both sides were for the marriage. When Cathy asked her mother one evening whether she had any reservations about her marrying, her mother replied: "No, But there is one thing I'd like you to do first. I would like you to take over the complete running of this house for six months. Then I'll be happy about it."
