If you accomplished half as much, you'd really be getting things done! There isn't a lazy bone in its 3-foot-(1-meter-)long body! The industrious beaver, once nearly exterminated by fur hunters, has been making a comeback. And it's a good thing, too! Few other animals can contribute so many benefits to the areas where they live. The beaver has some unusual features. It has large front teeth for quickly cutting wood.
