By the Way... Growing Up Too Fast

Are you happy being a teenager? Or would you be happier if you were just a few years older? From what you tell me, it seems most of you long to be more grown-up, with more adult responsibilities. Many teens feel that if they were a little older and could get out from under Dad or Mom's thumb and make their own decisions, they would be happier. I got a letter from one teenager, however, who, in her hurry to grow up, didn't find happiness. Instead, she found a whole lot of trouble. Unfortunately, I get many of these letters every week, but Darlene (not her real name) wanted to share what she learned with you.
