Well, brethren, this is the Feast of Tabernacles. And again, I might ask, why are we here? This morning, I would like to show you as never before, that is, by God's grace and by his power energizing me, I'd like to show you as never before what this Feast of Tabernacles pictures in the plan of God.

And I'm going to take you through some prophecies that you didn't even know were in the Bible. And I'm going to show you how much there is in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation on this subject of what the Feast of Tabernacles pictures in the Great Plan of God.

I have some quotes. I don't wish to take time to read them. But Sir Winston Churchill in 1941, speaking before the U.S.

Congress, said that there was a great purpose being worked out here below. And whoever couldn't see that must have a blind soul indeed, he said. Harry Truman, President Harry Truman, also in 1946 said that there's a great purpose being worked out in the United States, and he said it's not given to us to understand it.

But, brethren, we, members of the Church of the Living God, understand God's great master plan, his purpose. And we only understand it because we keep God's commandments, because the Bible says, a good understanding, have all they that do his commandments. You can't understand the Bible if you don't live it.

I heard a famous evangelist, I won't mention his name. I don't know how many of you like Graham crackers. Ever eat them?

I don't know why my mind gets on food here occasionally, but anyway, famous evangelist speaking in a southern city not long ago at the conclusion of his sermon when he began to give an altar call. He said he believed that the loved ones of those people who had died and passed on were kind of up in some big arena in the sky looking down on them right there in that city as they were having this big rally.

And he talks about people going to heaven. Now, brethren, the churches of this world do not know what man is. As the Bible says, man is mortal.

The Bible says the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything. The Bible says there's no work, nor device, nor knowledge in the grave whither thou goest.

The Bible says there's no remembrance of thee, even of God, in the grave. And I'm quoting those right out of the scriptures. I don't want to take the time to turn and read them because I've got a couple hundred other scriptures that I want you to read with me.

And why is it that the churches of this world, Catholic and Protestant, and even the Jewish people, Who believe in God as the Creator God don't understand God's plan? Why is it that they believe that man is an immortal soul or has an immortal soul and they don't realize that the Bible says we must seek after immortality and eternal life? Romans chapter 2, I believe it's about verse 7 (Romans 2:7).

That at the resurrection, this mortal must put on immortality. We have to receive eternal life as a gift from God. Why is it that the churches of this world don't understand?

The message, the very message, the central message which Jesus Christ brought to this earth, the gospel. And so let's begin very quickly in a whirlwind tour of the scriptures to show you what this Feast of Tabernacles pictures. Now, I can't go back to Leviticus 23 and read there where it says, Keep the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days.

And it says, You shall rejoice for seven days. I can turn to Deuteronomy 16 and two or three times in the Chapter, it says, You shall surely rejoice. It's a time of great rejoicing, the feast of ingathering, as it's called.

The feast after you've gathered in the crops in the late summer, in the early autumn. A time of rejoicing, because, brethren, this pictures the time in the kingdom of God when billions and billions will be converted, when they're going to be saved, when they're going to have their eyes opened. And of all the billions who've ever lived, only a tiny little infinitesimal fraction have ever had a Bible in their hands or have ever so much as heard the name of Jesus Christ.

There are just a little over 4 billion people on this earth today. And of all those, there are not quite 1 billion, just a little under 1 billion, who profess to be Christians. That is less than 1 in 4.

Even profess to be a Christian. And the Bible says there's no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved.

Christ said, I am the door, the way, the truth, and the life. There's no other way to attain eternal life but through Jesus Christ. All right, let's see what Jesus Christ preached, and let's see the connection between what he preached and the very kingdom of God, this very Feast of Tabernacles, and what it pictures in God's plan.

Let's go to Mark. Mark 1:14. Now, after that, John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.

And brethren, the churches today don't even know what the gospel of the kingdom of God is. And they have all sorts of gospels. And you have preachers that wheeze.

And I saw a preacher the other day up at Norfolk, he had his little mannequin on the show. And that was his little gimmick.

And we have churches that believe in every imaginable doctrine, and they contradict each other. Some believe in baptism, some believe in sprinkling and pouring. And you go right down the line, and we have nothing but confusion because the Bible says in Revelation 12:9 that Satan the devil has deceived the whole world.

Now, then, Christ preached the gospel, which means good news, of the Kingdom of God. And that's what this feast pictures: the time when the kingdom of God is going to rule this earth. Christ said, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.

Repent and believe the gospel. That's what Christ preached, and that's all he preached in his whole ministry. He preached the gospel.

And of course, it was the good news of the kingdom of God, the glad tidings of God's Kingdom. The wonderful announcement of the government of God to be established right here on this earth, not up in heaven, as most Catholics and nearly all Catholics and Protestants believe, not wafting off to heaven to play on a harp forever. That's not what the Bible teaches.

I want you to notice a few other scriptures very quickly in Luke chapter 1, verse 32. 31 and 32 (Luke 1:31-32). Speaking of Christ in the 31st verse, it says, He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the highest, and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.

Notice that, but given to Christ, the throne of his father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob, that's Israel, forever. And of his kingdom there shall be no end.

No end to the kingdom. Now, where will that kingdom be established?

How long will it be established? Well, let's notice a few more scriptures. I think you're all familiar in Matthew chapter 5 and Matthew 6, especially, where we're told, Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

I think you know in Matthew chapter 6, the so-called Lord's Prayer, that we're to pray, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth. Right here. In earth as it is in heaven.

Brethren, the Bible from Genesis to Revelation shows the kingdom of God will be established right here on this earth, not up in heaven. And let's see that just in the Bible. In Matthew chapter 19, the disciples said they had forsaken all. This is verse 27 (Matthew 19:27-28).

They said, What will we have, therefore? And Christ said unto them, That you which have followed me in the regeneration, this is Matthew 19:28.

In the regeneration, when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. The twelve apostles would have high offices, like petty kings, ruling over each of the twelve tribes under Christ, as we'll see a little later.

Let's turn over a while in the book of Matthew to Matthew chapter 24. And show a little bit about this subject. And by the way, without turning and reading it while you're turning to Matthew 24, I want to mention that in Hebrews 9:27 and 28, you'll notice, speaking of Christ, it says, To those that look for Christ shall he appear the second time.

Christ is to come back the second time. He was here once, about 2,000 years ago. His first coming to be born as a human being. He lived here for 33 and a half years. He was crucified. He died. Gave his life blood for us. He died for our sins. He went to heaven.

Now then, he went to heaven to receive a kingdom. Notice here Matthew 24:29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, now brethren, the tribulation is not very far down the road.

That's the time when other prophecies show that the United States and the British Commonwealth of Nations and others are going to go down and down unto defeat. And the loss of the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal and our other seagates, and the dollar sinking, and our moral or immoral toboggan slide that America's on is merely an indication, all pointing in the direction that as ancient Rome became mighty, wealthy, and powerful, and went down, so is our nation.

Now, in the Great Tribulation, our people are going to suffer, as no people have ever suffered. The destruction in World War III, that the Bible shows is prophesied, is going to make the 55 million who were killed in World War II look like absolutely nothing.

Dachau, Buchenbald, Auschwitz, and the other concentration camps are going to seem tame in comparison with the mass destruction now possible that the Bible shows is going to make this the worst time that has ever happened in the long history of mankind. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, said Christ. This is Matthew 24:29.

The moon shall not give her light. The stars shall fall from heaven. And the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then, notice this, then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see. Notice this, people are going to look up.

The tribes of the human beings, the ethnic groups on this earth around the world, are going to look up and see Christ. And they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and greatness. Glory.

This is going to happen. Christ, the glorified Christ, coming with the saints, as we'll see. Notice now, Matthew 25:31: when the Son of Man shall come in his glory and all the holy angels with him, then at that time, notice this, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.

And before him, now will this be up in heaven? No, notice this. And before him, Shall be gathered all nations.

So he's going to sit on the throne here on this earth, ruling the nations of the earth. Before him shall be gathered all nations. And he shall separate them one from the other as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

And then he's going to, you'll have to read the rest of it. I didn't want to turn and read that now. I just want to go very quickly through some of these scriptures.

Notice Luke 19:11, it says that Christ spoke a parable because His disciples thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. Christ went throughout all Galilee preaching the good news of the kingdom of God, that God would establish a kingdom right here on this earth.

And the disciples at first thought the kingdom of God would be established in their day, immediately. And Christ gave a parable to knock that erroneous idea out of their heads.

He said in verse 12, A certain nobleman, meaning himself, went into a far country, meaning heaven, to receive for himself a kingdom and to return, write it here, to return to this earth. And he called his ten servants, he delivered them ten pounds, he said, occupy till I come, that is, use these, use them, employ them, make use of them, don't just put them in the bank. Well, we read when he came back, one man who had been given one pound had multiplied his into ten pounds, verse 16.

And Christ said to him, Well, you good servant, because you have been faithful in a little, a very little, have authority over ten cities. So this man, this person, maybe this will represent some right here in this audience, are going to be mayors or more than that, super mayors. Governors over ten cities, not up in heaven, but here on this earth.

Another man had only multiplied his talent or his pound five times. Verse 18. And in verse 19, Christ said to him, Be thou also over five cities, rulership in the kingdom of God here on this earth over five cities.

While we're going through here, let's notice then. Also, Luke chapter 20:35. This is concerning the resurrection.

Christ said to the disciples and the Jews there at his day: They which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage. I want to show you what we will be like in the kingdom of God when we, the servants of God, glorify. Made like Christ, born into his family, are going to rule with Christ right here on this good earth.

Those which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, neither can they die anymore. For they are equal unto the angels and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Notice that, brethren.

The children of God. Being the children of the resurrection. Now, if you'll turn over to the book of John.

In John chapter 18, Christ just before he went to his death. In fact, one of the things that brought on Christ's death was the fact that he said he was born to be a king. In verse 36 (John 18:36), Jesus answered, My kingdom, notice this, my kingdom is not of this world.

If my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight. I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now is my kingdom not from this place, or not from hence.

Pilate, who was a petty king in those days, Pilate therefore said unto him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest. Or other translations say, Certainly I am.

Certainly I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world. To be a king.

So, brethren, this is what Jesus Christ taught. Now, then, let's see. Let's see some more.

Let's go over to the book of Acts, a very important scripture. Acts chapter 3, beginning with verse 19 (Acts 3:19). Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

And he, the Father, shall send Jesus Christ. That's back to this earth, which before was preached unto you. This is Acts 3:21.

Speaking of Christ, it says, whom the heavens must receive until the times of restitution of all things. Christ will remain in heaven until the time comes that God will restore everything on this earth. Now, brethren, it's beyond the scope of this sermon to go back and show you.

That God created the angels maybe billions of years ago. Certainly, undoubtedly, millions of years ago. In Job 38, it says that when God created the earth, that the angels were there and they rejoiced.

And they shouted for joy. The angels. In Revelation 12, about verse 2, it says, no, it's a little further down, I guess.

Anyway, in the early part of Revelation chapter 12, it says, one-third of the angels followed in after Satan, formerly known as Lucifer. It says, Satan said, I will exalt my throne above the clouds of heaven. I will be like the great God.

Christ says, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. And over in II Peter, or I Peter, I guess it is 2, verse 4 (I Peter 2:4). It says that the angels that sinned, God cast them down to a prison called Tartarus.

And in Jude chapter 6, or rather verse 6, only one chapter, it says, the angels that didn't keep their first estate, that wouldn't stay here on this earth, it says God has reserved them into chains of darkness. The angels that wouldn't keep their first estate. And over in I Corinthians, it says, We are going to judge those angels.

So the government of God, when Lucifer rebelled over millions of angels on this earth, and undoubtedly In the period of the dinosaurs and the pre-adamic creation. They were on a beautiful earth and they sinned, and God brought destruction on the earth as a result of the sin of the angels. And then God put Adam and Eve on the earth, and Adam refused to obey the government of God.

And all mankind has sinned ever since then. And God sent the second Adam, Jesus Christ, to this earth. And he obeyed God.

He followed the government of God perfectly. He resisted Satan and he qualified to rule as king of kings and lord of lords on the whole earth.

Now then, it says that heaven must receive Christ until the times of restoring the restitution of all things that is pertaining to the government of God, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. We'll see a little bit later, as time permits. What some of the prophets said concerning this Messiah and the kingdom of God.

But let's go right on very quickly. Notice Acts 17:31. Because he, God, has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained, whereof he has given assurance unto all men that he has raised him from the dead.

The Bible says, brethren, that God is going to rule the world for one day through Christ. Now, in II Peter chapter 3, it says that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day. So, this does not mean a 24-hour day here, brethren.

This means a thousand-year day, a millennial day, if you please. And the Bible does teach that there will be the kingdom of God on this earth and that it will rule the earth not for 999 years or 1,001 years, but for exactly 1,000 years, a millennial day, because God the Father has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man that was born of the Virgin Mary, that man Jesus Christ.

Who died and was resurrected. Now let's go on a little further. How will Christ rule the world?

I Corinthians 6:2. Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? Christ will judge the world.

The saints will be with him, judging the world with him. And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters in the church at this time? Verse 3.

Do you not know? That we shall judge angels? Eventually, we are going to judge the demons, those angels that sinned and that kept not their first estate, as we read.

Okay? We're going to judge the world for a thousand years. But how will we judge the world?

Are we going to be flesh and blood human beings like we are now? Are we going to be fallible, weak, puny when the government of the whole world is placed upon Christ shoulder and our shoulders?

Notice what we're going to be like. I've already shown you in the book of Luke and the resurrection, we cannot die. Notice when the kingdom of God comes to this earth, the rulers of that kingdom are going to be spirit beings.

Notice this in I Corinthians 15:50. Now, this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. As Christ said in John 3, you must be born again, or you will not see the kingdom of God.

You have to be born again to actually inherit that kingdom. And we, with Christ, are going to compose the kingdom of God, the family of God, ruling the whole world, ruling all nations, who eventually will be born into that family of God.

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not.

All sleep. We're not going to all die. But we shall all be changed.

In the moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. And this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Quite often, we ministers go into hospitals and homes, and we see people dying of cancer.

Their bodies thin, wasted away, emaciated. People who were once healthy, in the bloom of health, now very corruptible, very mortal. We are all that way, brethren.

This is my 30th Feast of Tabernacles. I entered Ambassador College 31 over 31 years ago, and time, that 31 over 31 years, has gone by just like that. And even if you live to be 70 or 80, which none of us have a guarantee, time marches on. It waits for no man. Okay.

Now then, let's turn to I Thessalonians 4. Let's look at some other scriptures. In verse 13 (I Thessalonians 4:13), the Apostle Paul says, But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, asleep in death, those who are totally unconscious in their graves, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus, Jesus died and rose again. Even so, them also which sleep in Jesus, the dead in Christ, will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede, it should be, shall not go before.

This Old English prevent means to precede, shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall Descend from heaven with a shout. Now, keep this in mind because in the Old Testament, Promise speaks in two or three places of Christ coming back to this earth and shouting out a certain message.

The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain faithful. Remain in God's church, remain like the branches on the vine, then we which are alive and remain in the body of Christ shall be caught up together, it says, caught up together with them in the clouds, not up to heaven, God's throne up in heaven, to meet the Lord in the air, where the airplanes fly, where the birds fly.

And so shall we ever be with the Lord, brethren. It does not say we go off up to heaven. All the scriptures show the saints are going to rule here on this earth.

Notice again Christ's second coming depicted here in II Thessalonians chapter 1. It says that Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus, in verse 7 (II Thessalonians:7), shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God and that obey not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power.

When he, Christ, shall come to be glorified in all his saints and to be admired in all them that believe. We're going to admire Christ when we look up and see him. Now, it talks about Christ coming in the second chapter.

A great deal on it, but I can't read that much of it, but let me just read one or two verses. It says in verse 8: Then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and destroy with the brightness of his coming, even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. Satan is going out to woo the world.

The false prophets are today standing up to confuse the world more than ever before. And the great false prophet mentioned in Revelation is now on a campaign and has been for some time going to different nations to try to woo people into the largest Christian church, of which more people attend than any other.

And the Bible shows that someday Jesus Christ is going to come back to this earth and at last show the nations the true way. And establish the kingdom of God here on this earth. Turn over next, very quickly, before we go to the Old Testament, Revelation chapter 2.

Revelation 2:26 and 27, we read, He that overcomes and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations. And he shall rule them that is under Christ and with Christ. He shall rule them with a rod of iron.

As the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers. The nations are going to be subdued unto the saints, who will not judge by appearances, but will judge righteous judgment. And he, the saints, shall rule them with a rod of iron.

As the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers. And in Revelation 5:10, it says that God has made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth, ruling the nations on the earth.

In Revelation chapter 11, speaking of the time of Christ's second coming, and I read over in I Corinthians 15 and I Thessalonians 4 that Jesus Christ comes at the last trump. Now, here in Revelation, there are seven trumps to sound. I can't go into that, but it speaks of the seventh one, the last one sounding in verse 15 (Revelation 11:15-18).

And the seventh angel sounded. And there were great voices in heaven saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.

The 24 elders fell on their faces. They gave God thanks. Verse 17, saying, We give you thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Lord God Omnipotent, which art and wast and art to come, because you have taken to you. Your great power and have reigned.

And the nations were angry. And your wrath has come in the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should give reward, eternal life, and positions of rulership. Reward unto your servants, the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear your name, small and great, and should destroy them which destroy the earth.

When Christ comes back at the seventh trump, the resurrection occurs. Christ will call the dead forth. The resurrection will occur on this earth.

And he and the saints are going to rule the world for a thousand years. I want you to notice, just while we're here, I want to turn back to, I think it's Matthew 24, one scripture that I don't think I read here. Anyway, it speaks of Christ.

It says when he comes back that he will send his angels. In verse 31 (Matthew 24:31). And he, Christ, will send his angels with the great sound of a trumpet.

And they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. When Christ comes back, the saints are going to be gathered by the angels of God unto Christ. But where will Christ be at that time?

Well, in Revelation 14:1, it says, I looked, and lo, a lamb stood on the Mount Zion, and with him 144,000. Now, brethren, I'm going to show you from the Old Testament where Mount Zion is. Mount Zion is in Jerusalem.

It is a hill in Jerusalem. I've been there many times. Look it up in any Bible atlas.

Look it up in any Bible dictionary. Mount Zion is a hill in the city of Jerusalem. And Jesus Christ, the prince of peace is coming back to rule the world from Mount Zion, from Jerusalem. Now let's go a little further, very quickly. We're having to go very quickly.

In Revelation 19, speaking of the saints, marrying Christ, his wife has made herself ready. Mr. Armstrong has already mentioned that scripture.

In verse 7 (Revelation 19:7, 14), the church is caught up to meet Christ, and the angels come with Christ. Verse 14: the armies which In heaven, followed him upon white horses clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that is the word of God, that with it, with the word of God, he should rule or smite the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron.

And he treads the winepress of the fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God. So, brethren, this shows when Jesus Christ comes back to the earth, He and as we read earlier, the saints are going to rule the nations with a rod of iron.

What does it mean, rule the nations with a rod of iron? Brethren, it means we are going to quit puss-a-footing with the nations.

We're going to quit puss-a-footing around. Here was this girl in Florida here that you probably heard about. Stole $5 and was sentenced for seven years in prison.

Finally became pregnant by one of the guards, and only a few months ago was released. Whereas, sometimes huge crimes are committed, and they may get a slap on the wrist, they may not even be sent to jail.

And here, this girl that committed a serious crime, she stole $5 and was sentenced to seven years in prison, plus, I think, other years that were to be added onto that. There's no justice in this world. We've seen that with the receiver or the deceiver coming in there in California.

I've Been into court a couple times or three times, and I've never had justice at the hands of the unjust judge. And, brethren, the time comes when we're going to be kings and priests and judges under Christ, and we're going to rule the nations in love, but also with a rod of iron. People who make mistakes and repent, we're going to forgive and overlook.

But people who persist in murdering and lying and stealing and going the wrong way, well, the Bible shows there's going to be a horrible death for them, and I'll read that in the Old Testament prophecies. If we can keep rolling right along here, we've got to make good time. Now, Christ comes back, the armies in heaven are with him, and finally, the armies that fight against him are going to be destroyed.

Verse 19: The beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his angelic army. The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet. And it says, The latter part of the verse says, These both were cast alive into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone, with sulfur.

Remember that, burning with brimstone. The beast and the false prophet are cast into that. And the remainder, it says, were slain by the word of God, by the sword of him that sat upon the horse.

And the sword proceeded out of his mouth. Now, notice what happens. Now, brethren, we come down to Revelation 20:1.

That pictures, that is, the Feast of Tabernacles, pictures, this time of rejoicing in the millennium. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand.

And this angel, it says, laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, slimy old snake, and Satan bound him a thousand years. Satan goes out to steal, to lie, to commit adultery, that is, to cause other people to. I just talked to a couple here yesterday that I had known up in Missouri when I was pastoring a church there not long ago, whose sister, this man's sister, was demon-possessed.

She'd even tell the police department some of their shenanigans. They didn't know how she knew this. She could look at people and tell them what they're thinking.

And she had supernatural powers. Later, they found she had some brain damage. Psychiatrists showed that she was possessed with three devils, three distinct personalities.

Occasionally, you'll see this thing reported on the news. Not long ago, they said here was a person that had six distinct personalities.

Mary Magdalene had seven demons cast out of her by Christ. And the devil goes around to destroy, he goes around to possess people's minds. And most people, he doesn't possess their minds, he just puts obsessions in their minds and evil thoughts and tries to get them to kill, to murder, to hate, to lie, to steal, anything to go out and break the laws of God.

And Satan. It's like a gigantic broadcasting station, and he's able to send out his evil thoughts to influence people, and he does it through music and the world and the many other facets of this society. But at that time, God's going to turn that broadcasting station off, he's going to knock it off the air.

And so, this angelic, great angelic being bound Satan a thousand years, verse 3, cast him into the bottomless pit, into the abyss, shut him. Up, set a seal upon him that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that, he must be loosed a little season after the thousand years are over.

Then it talks about verse 4. I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them. These are the saints.

It says in the latter part of this verse, they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. While the devil is not permitted to deceive the nations, but the rest of the dead live not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Those who resurrected when Christ returns, and they sit on thrones, ruling with Christ, for a thousand years. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection. On such the second death has no power.

But they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan will be loosed up, loosed again to go out and make mischief in the earth.

But, brethren, let's stop here a moment. Do you know of any church that really believes that Jesus Christ and his saints are going to rule on the earth a thousand years? There are so many beliefs regarding the millennium.

There are those who think the Catholic Church was the kingdom of God back, you know. The Dark Ages, when it would rule for a thousand years over Europe, Hitler had the third right. And Hitler expected the third right to rule for a thousand years.

And there are those who believe that the thousand years will be ruling up in heaven. And some think the thousand years is an indefinite period. But, brethren, I don't care what you think or I think the Bible says there will be the kingdom of God ruling this earth for exactly a thousand years.

A day, a millennial day, in which God will judge the world, using us, glorified beings, shining like the stars of heaven, ruling with Him. I want to read you very quickly a couple of comments here to show you what people in the world think about the millennium.

Edward Gibbon, in his book, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, he says this: The ancient and popular doctrine of the millennium. Notice it was a Ancient and popular was intimately connected with the second coming of Christ. As the works of the creation had been finished in six days, their duration in their present state, according to a tradition which was attributed to the prophet Elijah, was fixed at 6,000 years.

By the same analogy, it was inferred that this long period of labor, that is, this 6,000 years, The six millennial days of man going his own way, that this long period of labor and contention, which was now almost elapsed, would be succeeded, that is, it would be followed by a joyful Sabbath of a thousand years, and that Christ, with the triumphant band of the saints and the elect who had escaped death or who had been miraculously revealed. Would reign upon earth till the time appointed for the last and general resurrection. This is what Edward Gibbon wrote in his monumental and classic work, The Decline and the Fall of the Roman Empire, Chapter 15.

Furthermore, this very intelligent, educated British author, Edward Gibbon, in this same work makes the following statement. The assurance of such a millennium was carefully inculcated by a succession of fathers, from Justin Martyr and Arrhenius, who conversed with the immediate disciples of the apostles, down to Lactantius, who was preceptor to the son of Constantine. Though it might not be universally received, it appears, that is, the belief in the millennium appears to have been the reigning sentiment of the Orthodox believers.

And it seems so well adapted to the desires and apprehensions of mankind that it must have contributed to a very considerable degree to the progress of the Christian faith. Now, notice what happened when it says the early believers, Christ and his apostles, and right on down believed in the millennium.

But when the edifice of the church, modern churchianity, Christianity that is no more Christian than anything, not Christ like, but when the edifice of the church was almost completed, the temporary support, that is, the belief in the millennium, was laid aside. The doctrine of Christ's reign upon earth, that is, that Christ came and preached the gospel, the good news, the glad tidings of the kingdom of God.

It says the doctrine of Christ's reign upon earth. That's what the gospel was. It says that was at first treated as a profound allegory. It was considered by degrees as a doubtful and useless opinion, and was at length rejected as the absurd invention of heresy and fanaticism. This is what happened.

Christ taught the doctrine that he would rule upon this earth with his saints for a thousand years. And at last, when the so-called Christian church arose, which wasn't Christian, Christ wasn't in it, at first, even they accepted this, but finally they rejected the doctrine of the millennium.

Here in Halley's Handbook, many of you have access to this. He says, to have a theory about the millennium is quite another. Some think the millennium will be an age of blessedness in this present world. Others, that it will be one of the ages of eternity. He says it will last a thousand years.

By some, this is thought to be a literal 1,000 years, foreshadowed as a Sabbath of rest after 6,000 years of man's history. To others, the millennium, he says, is thought to mean an indefinitely long period. Why won't people believe the Bible period?

And accept what it says. Now, notice what he says. Halley's Handbook, still continuing.

The Millennial Sabbath theory calls it here, page 33. The epistle of Barnabas in the beginning of the Christian era mentioned a belief then held that even as there had been 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham, and 2,000 years from Abraham to Christ, so there would be 2,000 years for the Christian era, and then would come the millennium, even as the six days of creation were followed by the day of rest.

Inasmuch as we are now dawning toward the close of 2,000 years of the Christian era, it will soon be known for sure what there is to this belief, which he calls up here earlier a theory. There are many things now on the horizon that seem to be saying that's a great Great day may be nearer than we think. And that's right.

Only I would put it more strongly: I would say, as Christ put it in Matthew 24: when you see the fig tree putting forth buds, you know that summer is near. And when you see these things of the weapons of mass destruction, as Christ said that all flesh would be destroyed unless He intervened, and we know that all flesh can only be destroyed since our modern weapons have been invented.

Before that time, man was being born far faster than he could kill himself off with, even with bullets. And the kingdom of God is near. We don't know how soon it'll come, but, brethren, it's near.

And we ought to rejoice in that. We don't know the precise day or hour. Now, brethren, let's go back very quickly to a few Old Testament prophecies.

We'll just have to race through these, but I want you to really see what a joyful time the millennium will be. And, brethren, the Feast of Tabernacles pictures this wonderful time when the earth at last is going to break forth in peace and happiness and prosperity and joy supreme.

I want you to notice: instead of having a babyling of 300 and some different languages or whatever it may be on the earth where we can't understand each other, we misunderstand each other, in the book of Haggai, pardon me, not Haggai, but the book. Habakkuk. I'll get this right in a moment.

Zephaniah. Zephaniah. Everyone's entitled to at least one mistake in his life.

We all have to show we're human. I once thought I'd made a mistake and I confessed it and I found I was really wrong. I hadn't.

That was my one mistake. No, I'm just kidding. We all make mistakes every day.

But in Zephaniah 3:9, God says, Then will. I turn to the people a pure language that they may call upon the name of the Lord to serve him with one consent. In the millennium, there will be one universal language, one langua franca, one international tongue, and that will begin to unite the world together.

But that's not all, brethren. There has to be more than one tongue. I want you to notice, let's go back to a number of other Old Testament scriptures. I want you to see here. If we are going to rule under Christ, if the saints are going to rule under him, we've got to learn how to judge righteously and live godly lives here and now.

We've got to be learning and building character, or we will never qualify to rule the nations. David, who was king over Israel, and the Bible shows, maybe I can give you this scripture later on, he'll be king over Israel in the millennium. David said this in II Samuel 3:23.

The God of Israel said, The rock of Israel spoke to me, and here's what God said: He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. When we have presidents at the helm of mighty nations and rulers who damn the name of God, who take God's name in vain, who employ dirty tricks, men that don't fear God or know God, how can they bring peace and happiness?

Tax Americana! American peace to the rest of the world. And we're proving, as ancient Rome proved, utterly unable to bring peace.

And as Hitler and his third right proved unable, we likewise are proving unable. Let's go back to Daniel chapter 7. In Daniel 7:21, I beheld the same horn that made war with the saints and prevailed against them. I can't. Go into that. This is yet future.

When a great religious system in Europe is going to be responsible, according to Isaiah 47, for the martyrdom of many people, undoubtedly, even in the Church of the Living God. We made war with the saints and prevailed against them. Verse 22, until the ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

A kingdom up in heaven? Well, notice it in verse 27. And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.

And all dominions shall serve and obey him. So, brethren, the Bible clearly shows that Jesus Christ is going to rule. With his church made immortal, with the saints, right here on this earth for 1,000 years.

Now let's notice where Christ will rule. Where will his throne be? From where will he rule?

Well, Jeremiah 3:17. At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord. And all the nations shall be gathered unto it to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem.

Notice that. All the nations. Like sheep and goats gathered before Christ to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem.

Neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. In those days, the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north, to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers, the land of Palestine. That's yet to happen.

Notice also Isaiah chapter 24, Isaiah 24:23. I want you to notice here another scripture that shows Jesus Christ will rule from Jerusalem. And the word Jerusalem means city of peace. And Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 24:20: The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage, and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it. That's today. People breaking God's laws.

Husband, wife swapping around, young people sleeping around. I believe now over one million, about a million and a half young people are living together, unmarried, crime, juvenile delinquency, broken homes, damning the name of God, everything possible. Not to mention befouling God's Sabbaths and His holy days and eating unclean meats and all the other things that God says don't do.

The transgression will be heavy upon the earth. Verse 21, it shall come to pass. In that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones, the high and the mighty, the mighty men on this earth that are on high, high positions, and the kings of the earth, upon the earth, not up in heaven, or in limbo.

And they shall be gathered together as prisoners who are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall be visited. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed. When the Lord of hosts shall reign, shall govern, shall rule in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem and before his ancients gloriously.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses, Enoch, all of the ancients, the men of old, the prophets, resurrected, made immortal, and Christ right there ruling before them gloriously. Brethren, your Bible is full of this. Notice what even Moses said way back in the book of Deuteronomy 33. Deuteronomy 33:2. And he said, The Lord came from Sinai. He rose up from Sierra.

He shined forth from Mount Paran. He came, notice this, verse 2, latter part. He came with ten thousands of saints from his right hand with a fiery law for them. You might think this refers to what happened when the Israelites came out of Egypt. Brethren, that isn't what it means.

This is prophetic. This is yet future. When Christ, under Moses and Aaron, brought the tribes of Israel out of Egypt, there were very few saints among them.

All except Joshua and Caleb sinned, and they were killed. They died in the desert. This is talking about the second coming of Christ.

Yea, they loved the people. All of your saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Everyone shall receive of your word. Words. When Christ comes back, the saints are going to be there with him, receiving his law.

Notice how Zachariah in Zachariah 14 describes the same thing with the saints sitting at Christ's feet receiving his law. Zachariah 14:1. Behold, the day comes, that is, the day of the Lord comes.

And your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you. Talking about Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the focal point.

Watch Jerusalem. And there will be no peace in the Middle East or in the world until the Prince of Peace comes and at last shows the nations the way to peace, the way of God's law. God says in verse 2: I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle.

And the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, ransacked, the women raped, ravished. Half the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue, the remainder of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations as when he fought in days of old, days gone by, in the days of battle. Notice verse 4: And his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives. And brethren, if you'll turn over to Acts 1, when the angel stood there and Christ disappeared before his disciples, he was taken up in a cloud into heaven, and he was taken up from the Mount of Olives.

And the Bible says he'll come back in the clouds of heaven, and it says he'll come back to the Mount of Olives, and he will send his angels skirting around the earth, and he says, gather my saints together. And they're going to bring the saints to where Christ is, there in the area of Jerusalem. His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east.

And it talks about a great earthquake in the Mount of Olives having a big rift that opens up there. Like as the earthquake, verse 5, the latter part: in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And the Lord my God shall come. But who does he bring with him? And all the saints with thee.

Aren't the saints caught up to meet him in the air? That's what many prophecies show. Now then, living waters at that time will go out from Jerusalem.

Verse 8. Notice the ninth verse. And the Lord shall be king up in heaven.

Is that what it says? No. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth. And in that day there shall be one Lord. His name won. It says the land will be inhabited. There are going to be great blessings in the land. I can't read that. It says in verse 11, but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. Brethren, that's never happened. Bombs go off almost every day in Jerusalem. Terrorists are there today.

And then it talks about a great plague that'll smite those armies. And it says men are going to be killed instantaneously. Their flesh will consume off their bones and their eyes right in the sockets of their head while they stand, instantaneous destruction. Verses 12 and 13, read it. Then, notice verse 16, and it shall come to pass that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the king, the Lord of hosts, and to keep, notice, Christmas and Easter, and Halloween, and April Fool's Day, and all the other fool days of the world.

On Christian days. Is that what it says? No. They'll go up from year to year. It says to Jerusalem, and they'll keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

It shall be that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth, who will not come up unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, it says, even upon them shall be no rain, a great drought. If the family of Egypt go not up and come not that have no rain, there shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it says, brethren, that this will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

But not only that, brethren, but let's notice next Isaiah chapter 66. Isaiah chapter 66. I want you to notice something else.

Not only are they going to go up from year to year to Jerusalem, but they're going to be people going up to Jerusalem every Sabbath day. In Isaiah 66, it says in verse 23 (Isaiah 66:23), And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, that is every month, and from one Sabbath, you think they'll be keeping the Sabbath then? Well, read the latter chapters of Ezekiel, and you'll find that yes, the Sabbath and the holy days of God will be kept in the millennium when it says in the latter chapters of Ezekiel that Christ will be right there dwelling among his people.

From one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the Lord. And they shall go forth and shall look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me, for their worm shall not die, neither Shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh in the millennium.

As this scripture and Zachariah shows, there are going to be the leaders of the different nations, representatives from Egypt, from Russia, from China, Japan, Ghana, around the world, are going to go up to Jerusalem. Perhaps in modern jets, pollution-free jets, I don't know. But they're going to go up from year to year to keep the Feast of Tabernacle.

And furthermore, it says they're going to go up to Jerusalem every month. People there from month to month. And it says, from one Sabbath to another, all these people are going to come up to Jerusalem, the world headquarters, Jerusalem, the city of peace.

They're going to go out to the south rim of Jerusalem, and they're going to look in the valley of Gehenna, as Christ called it, in the valley of Tophet, as it's called in the Old Testament. They're going to look down there, and they're going to see the carcasses of the men who are incorrigibly wicked.

People who are irredeemably wicked. People who will not be corrected. People who, even though God is here and working miracles and blessing the earth, rebel still. And they're going to be brought right up to Jerusalem and they're going to be flung. They're going to be executed and their bodies thrown into the valley of Hinnom in the lake of fire. Just like happened to the beast and the false prophet when Christ comes back at the very beginning. In fact, there's another scripture on that. I want you to read it. I hope I can just find it here.

Oh, yes, Isaiah chapter 30 talks about the second coming of Christ. In verse 30, Isaiah 30:30, and the Lord God shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, the voice of an archangel when Christ comes back at the last trump, and shall show the lightning down of his arm with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of the devouring fire with scattering and tempest and hailstones. Though the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

Undoubtedly, the modern peoples of Germany are going to lead a United States of Europe and eventually take over Egypt and the Middle East and be right down there in the valley of decision, as you'll read in Zechariah 14, the valley of Jehoshaphat, as it's also called, and fight against Christ, where the blood will eventually flow to the horses' bridles. And those nations that fight against Christ will be defeated. Notice verse.

Verse 33, for Topit. Now you can look this up. Topit is the valley that later was named Gehenna. And it means the valley of the sons of Hinnom, Gehinna. And it was called the valley of Topit. And they used to sacrifice children in that valley.

And finally, it was so polluted by the human sacrifices that they turned it into a city dump where it was being used as a city dump in Christ's day. It was called Gehenna. And they kept the fires burning, the bodies of criminals, the carcasses of sinful men, and of animals, and of refuge.

For Tophet is ordained of old. Yes, for the king it is prepared. He has made it deep and large. The pile thereof is fire and much wood. The breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, sulfur that is, does kindle it. Do you ever read in Revelation 19 in the last verses?

The lake of fire says burning with brimstone. Same thing. This is in the millennium, where it will be a city dump and also a place of execution for vile criminals who sin against the great God.

I want you to notice what David prophesied back in the 149th Psalm. It says here in Psalm 149:4: The Lord takes pleasure in his people. He will beautify the meek with salvation. Blessed are the meek. They'll inherit the earth, Christ says. We're going to receive salvation if we're meek and humble.

Let the saints be joyful in glory. The Bible says Christ was glorified when he was resurrected. When we will be resurrected, we will be in glory.

Like Moses and Elijah were in Matthew 17 when they appeared with Christ. Let the saints be joyful in glory. Let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and the word of God, a two-edged sword, in their hand. The Bible will be what we will judge the nations with, not the idiotic laws of man that are unjust. Let the two-edged sword, the Bible, be in their hand to execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people, to bind their kings with chains.

And their nobles with fetters of iron. We, brethren, are going to execute judgments under Christ and rule the nations with a rod of iron for a thousand years. We'll have the power, it says in verse 9, to execute upon them, upon kings and nobles, upon them the judgment written in the word of God.

This honor have all his saints. Every single one resurrected in the family of God are going to be ruling as kings and priests as supernaturally glorified rulers in the kingdom of God, bringing justice and peace and happiness to the earth.

And brethren, that's exactly what we're going to do. We're going to rule the nations with a rod of iron. We're going to rule over them, and we're going to have the Word of God as the basis for which we judge them.

I want you to notice Isaiah chapter 30. I want you to notice another thing about us at that time. Remember, it says, those in the resurrection will be like the angels, neither can they die anymore.

Notice Isaiah 30. Notice what it says regarding the saints at that time. Isaiah 30:19.

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You shall weep no more. He will be very gracious unto you at the voice of your cry. And when he shall hear it, he will answer you. Verse 20. This is Isaiah 30:20.

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, though we have a lot of trials in this life, and the water of affliction, yet shall not your teachers, notice this. Now, this is talking about the millennial rule. Yet shall not your teachers be removed into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers, and your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way. Walk ye in it when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.

You remember the hand that appeared on the wall at Nebuchadnezzar's feast? MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. You remember in the Bible different times when God spoke out and a voice spoke out? In the kingdom of God. The glorified saints are going to have the power like Christ did when he was resurrected. He came right into the room where the disciples were. The doors were locked. And he just came like that. And he was there. Materialized right in front of them.

And we're not going to be flesh and blood. We're going to have tangible bodies that people can touch. Yes. The Bible shows that very clearly. But we're going to have the power to disappear at will. We're going to have the power when someone begins to work on the Sabbath and profane the Sabbath.

Or they go out and they think, well, I'm just going to have a little pork. I know I can't have it in a public restaurant, but I'll go hunt myself up a wild boar and shoot him and sit down and build a fire and cut off a leg of that pork and have some nice ham and put it on the fire.

And just as he's about to stick it in his mouth, it says, you'll hear a word behind you saying, This is the way, walk ye in it. That pork will drop back down the fire. Oh, yes, yes, yes. What do you want, Lord? I'll tell you, you think people won't worship us at that time?

If you don't think people will worship you and me at that time when we're glorified, we're sons and daughters of God, then just, I suggest you read Revelation chapter 3, where it says in Revelation chapter 3:9: Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan. That's the false church. System, which says they're Jews and are not, but do I, behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet and to know that I have loved you.

In the millennium, when we are in the kingdom of God, a lot of people who had their false religions and meant well, but they were blinded. We're no better than they. It's just that God's called us.

God has opened our eyes to this glorious truth. And we can be far higher than angels. We can be born into the family of God, and our face is shining with supernatural powers.

And ruling the nations in a glorified form with Christ, ruling them in love, but with a rod of iron. And when they begin to go to the right or the left and to disobey, break the law of God, someone says, I think I'll print a new playboy or playgirl or Wee or whatever. And you start to take a dirty picture or to draw a filthy picture. You better stop that. And this voice will appear behind him. He'll turn around.

Oh, yes, Lord. And he'll decide not to print a dirty Playboy. And any time when people begin to really depart to the right or the left, they're going to learn that there are glorified beings there, and they'd better listen.

Now, brethren, there's so many prophecies. I just got a very few more minutes. I'll just try to go over them quickly. I wish you would go through the whole book of Isaiah. I had about. 50 prophecies here. I know I'm not going to have time to read them, but just let me refer you to them. Isaiah 2, I suggest you read that. It says, God's house will be ruling in Jerusalem.

Many people, verse 3, will say, Come and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. Out of Zion will go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall not judge among the nations, or rather, he shall judge among the nations.

Beat. And rebuke many people. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, their spears into pruning hooks. It says, Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

Isaiah chapter 4, some interesting things about Christ ruling. It's a short chapter. Read it sometime. Ruling in Jerusalem. Ruling in Zion. Right there in Jerusalem.

Isaiah chapter 9 talks about Christ, the Prince of Peace. It says in Isaiah 9:6: Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government that is of the whole world shall be upon his shoulder.

His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, the only one that can really bring peace to this earth. Of the increase of his government, and of peace there shall be no end upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it and to establish it with justice and judgment forever.

Isaiah 11, same thing. It says, Christ will be judging, and it says, He'll smite the wicked with the breath of his lips. Verse 4 (Isaiah 11:4), Righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf and the lamb shall dwell, and the lamb and the leopard shall lie down, and the kids, and the calf, and the young. Lion and the fattling together, and a little child shall lead them.

And the cow and the bear shall feed, their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the suckling child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain.

And Daniel 2, I think it is, it says this stone, Christ became a great mountain, a great nation, and filled the whole world. Eventually, they will not hurt nor destroy in all the earth, in all God's holy kingdom, holy mountain.

For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Eternal as the waters cover the sea. There won't be atheism and evolution taught in our schools and colleges. They won't be afraid to have a prayer in the schools.

We won't have all of our filth and pornography. But the earth will be full of the knowledge of God, and we won't have people in false religions. And false isms of one kind and another.

There is so much here, brethren, in this book of Isaiah. I wish I had more time. I want to turn to Jeremiah and just read very quickly, Jeremiah.

You can read these two chapters, I would suggest, later on, but Jeremiah chapter 30. Jeremiah 30 and 31. Now, a great deal of this talks about the coming tribulation and God delivering us from it.

In the 30th chapter, God says in verse 18 (Jeremiah 30:18-19), Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents. Our people are going to be rescued when our government leaders have failed and we give up our secrets and you can go into libraries and figure out how to build an atomic bomb just by going into the libraries. Our leaders are foolish the way they've led this nation.

God will rescue our peoples. Verse 19, out of them shall proceed. Thanksgiving, the voice of them that make merry, and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. I will glorify them, they shall not be small. And it goes on down to show what will happen. The 31st chapter.

Again, God says in verse 4, I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel. And you shall again be adorned with your tabres. Go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

And then it goes on down to show how God is going to bless us. Verse 12, Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat and wine and oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd, and their soul shall be like a watered garden, and they shall not sorrow any more at all. And then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young, young men, and old together.

For I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them and make them rejoice. And in verse 23, I will bring again their captivity, God says. And then it shows that they're going to be blessed.

And brethren, I've got so many scriptures here, as you can imagine, that show how God is going to bless them with prosperity. He says in the scripture over in, let's see, in Amos 9:13 and 14. I suggest you read that.

It says, the plowman will overtake the reaper. There will be such Abundant crops. And even the sparrows will be happy and singing, as you can hear.

They're rejoicing. And the lambs and the snakes and all of them are going to be happy together. And everything will rejoice.

And it'll be one big, happy world for 1,000 years when billions and billions are going to be brought into the knowledge of the truth. That's what this Feast of Tabernacles, this great time of rejoicing, pictures. And I've only been able to give you about half scriptures that I had in mind, but I can't go through the whole Bible in one sermon. I've tried it several times, I've never succeeded.
