Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.
As we go to press, the long awaited cease-fire in Vietnam has been announced by the Presidents of the United States and of North and South Vietnam. But are we going to have real peace? Listen to the cautious words of President Nguyen Van Thieu of South Vietnam: "True and lasting peace will depend upon the intentions and goodwill of the Communists." In other words, peace will come only if the Communists want it to come.
