What's It Like to Keep the Feast Around the World?

Have you ever been hit by a kangaroo while driving to the Feast? Not everyone could relate such an unusual incident, but Margaret Castledine from Perth, Australia, was not the only one we asked about what it's like to keep the Feast in his or her area who felt that Feast time is very exciting. "To me, the Feast of Tabernacles means the best time of the year - a time to really enjoy being with other youths of God's Church and to forget about all the problems of school," said Heat her Munro from East London, South Africa. Her sentiments are echoed by other young people around the world. At 84 sites around the world, God's people keep the Feast of Tabernacles, in different climates, using different languages and with various activities. But, according to the teens who wrote to us, the Feast is really the same everywhere because it pictures the same thing.
