I'd like to tell you about a friend of mine. He's very wise, very old and very outgoing. My friend introduced himself to me a little more than a year ago. Since he is quite a popular fellow, I had already heard of him before our first meeting, but I had known little about him. Many people have heard of him also, but the majority of them have the wrong ideas about who he is and what he's really like. The reason is that even though my friend is outgoing toward those he meets, he tends to stay in the background when it comes to people in general. He has just a small group of friends, at least for the time being. I guess the best way to describe this friend of mine is to say he's a teacher. He's well educated and has had fantastic experiences. He has an incredible understanding of people, places and things. The best part is that he loves to give this knowledge to others.
