"He always keeps me waiting!" "We never get anywhere on time." "She thinks she can show up for dinner any old hour she pleases!" "Why can't he let me know when he's held up after school?" Have you heard your parents, friends or even classmates make statements like these? People who are always late have lost friends, jobs, even potential mates. Also, according to etiquette books, being on time is simply good manners. We should always strive not to be late.
