What's Behind This Weird Weather? - Stormy Debate About Acid Rain - City In Focus: Jerusalem: While the Soviet Union basked in its warmest December in more than a century, in Thailand people were scrambling for blankets to keep warm. In Bangkok, Thailand, normal December evening temperatures of 70 degrees (Fahrenheit) plunged to 50 while the Soviet capital, Moscow, reveled in unseasonably warm 40 degree weather during the day. All around the world odd things are happening to our weather. Drought, flooding, heat waves and cold snaps all seem to be happening more often and getting worse. What's behind this weird weather?
