Why me, God? I thought to myself as the doctor explained what I would not be able to do. I had torn a muscle in my leg and it would take a month or more to heal up completely. In the meantime I knew I couldn't participate in my favorite activities - cheerleading, skating, tennis and track. I would have to get treatments for my leg. Why didn't God prevent this from happening to me? I sulked. The second week I had been taking the physical therapy treatments, I met a cute boy in the waiting room who was about my own age. He had been in a car accident and had suffered the loss of both his legs.
