You can be ahead of the game! As unbelievable as it sounds, William Thompson started college when he was only 12 years old! Jay Luo was only 12 when he received his bachelor of science degree in mathematics, and Dr. Merrill Wolf attained a bachelor of arts degree in music from Yale University at 14. These men, whose accomplishments are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, began or even finished college long before most people graduate from high school. When it came to academics, at least, these men were far ahead of their time.
