The spotlight's on you; the atmosphere is electric. Your performance is about to begin... The spot light follows you across the stage. All eyes are focused on you. You give a cheerful smile to the audience and take your place. As the applause dies down, you position yourself to play. There is a hushed silence. The air is filled with a tense excitement. For an instant, you reflect on the countless hours of practice spent preparing for this moment. You begin to play. For the next five minutes, it's just you, the audience and your music.
