"Isle of Man? Where's that? And is there an Isle of Woman, too?" These are questions you may be asking yourself. Even with a world atlas in front of you, the location of this picturesque island nation may not be immediately obvious. It is, after all, only 572 square kilometers (227 square miles) in area. So, to find the Isle of Man, turn your atlas to the page that shows Britain and Ireland. Between these two islands is a stretch of water called the Irish Sea. Jutting up in this sea, and just about mid way between England and Ireland, is a small piece of land. That's the Isle of Man.
