Question: I am a girl 16 years of age. I've been best friends with another girl my age ever since junior high school, but we had a big fight last week and haven't spoken to each other since. How can I save this friendship, or is it too late? Answer: Friendships are wonderful to have and are certainly worth saving most of the time. There are times when we can save them, however, and times when we can't, and even times when we shouldn't try. You didn't say what the argument was about, but most arguments are about things that aren't too earth shattering (such as a few cross words spoken without thinking). Arguments like this many times are caused by each person's inner pride and unwillingness to admit faults in some small matter (see Proverbs 13:10).
