The high point of the year? Most members of God's Church would say it is the Feast of Tabernacles. The Feast is an event for which we begin to plan many months in advance. And then, in eight short but marvelous days, it's all over for another year. It should not surprise anyone that the Feast comes to a close. We know it is just a temporary sampling of greater things to come. And yet, how often post-Feast let down makes itself felt to one degree or another! Some sadness is understandable. We wish we didn't have to scatter out into the world for another year. We long for God's Kingdom to be permanently established. But we shouldn't allow this small amount of sadness to become so great that it hinders our growth and effectiveness, now that we are back to our normal routines.
