Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.
Last Great Day
Well greetings all you wonderful Brethren all over the United States and Canada, and the United States includes Alaska and Hawaii, but here we are the last service of the last day; "The Last Great Day" of eight days of the seven day Feast of Tabernacles in this great day following and it's very great meaning on this day and all of these festivals. Once again, I'm reminded, and I continue to remind you of how the last of the so-called great men of the world Winston Churchill said before the United States Congress, "There is a purpose being worked out here below".
