Today is Pentecost as you very well know from this morning's service which from what I understand was very well explained and expounded to you. I suspect scriptures such as James 1 were mentioned, but let's just turn there again briefly and be reminded of the fact that we are God's first fruits. It has a great deal of meaning and significance in this as you've already heard today. James 1 verse 18 (James 1:18) tells us that, of His, God's own will He begot us with the Word of truth that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.
