Well good morning everyone; God has many attributes and when we think of God we think in terms of those attributes such as love, compassion, kindness, long suffering, mercy and even wrath, anger, power, harshness and perhaps some others. In the Old Testament God is characterized mostly in terms of wrath and anger and harshness and power. While in the New Testament, love, compassion, kindness, long suffering and mercy are the trade characteristics of God, now we are to become like God. Taking on His attributes of love and compassion and kindness and long suffering and mercy and hopefully avoiding those other attributes.
