Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.

I didn't know you were listening last night, but now I'm informed that you were and I'm so happy to be back once again on this platform in front of this microphone before all of you. That song Jerusalem means something very special to me right at this moment because I'm due to arrive in Jerusalem I think it's the 30th of June, I'll be there until after the 4th of July...
