Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.

So many are saying today, "You can believe BOTH the Bible and evolution." But this is emphatically not so! The Century Dictionary and Encyclopedia defines evolution as "opposed to creation" - the only PROOF of God. Huxley said it was "directly antagonistic to Creation," adding, "Evolution makes it impossible to believe in the Bible." And, we might add, the BIBLE makes it impossible to believe in evolution. Sir Oliver Lodge said, "As taught by science, we learn that there has been no fall in man; there has been only RISE." Another frank evolutionist, Carl Vogt, says: "Evolution turns the Creator out of doors."
