Personal from Herbert W Armstrong - JUST now, as I write, my son Garner Ted Armstrong has just gone off the air. Something he said made me realize, as never before, why this Work is unlike any other. Mrs. Armstrong and I are still in England, ready to sail for the United States in three more days. My son was speaking on the subject of Lazarus and the rich man. During the program, I took from the bookcase in my study a certain one-volume Bible dictionary. Out of curiosity I turned its pages to see what it would say about the words "soul," and "hell." When I first started to study the Bible, thirty-seven years ago, I turned often to the larger several-volume Dictionary of the Bible by the same editor. I regarded it as the best work of the kind in print. But the present volume which the Ambassador College Library department procured for my personal library in my study here in England, is a very late and modern edition. And I do mean modern!
