Since the winter of 1973-74 quadrupling of oil prices, the United States of America has been coming under God's end-time curse onn modern Israel at a steadily increasing rate. "The stranger that is in the midst of thee shall mount up above thee higher and higher; and thou shalt come down lower and lower." (Deuteronomy 28:43). This is most true in the deepening relationship with Saudi Arabia, on which American prosperity now depends. Last year American imports of Saudi crude oil topped 20 percent of total U.S. consumption. With record-cold winters and the destructive United Mine Workers strike, this figure is expected to rise even higher.
