We have come to the time of the Protestant reformation which is certainly in this world's history a monumental event. The Catholic church had essentially, as we have seen, dominated western religion, from the Counsel of Lycia, certainly from the time of the Imperial Restoration in the middle of the 6th century and now for essentially a thousand years or a millennium if you please and that word comes into play even in this regard, the Catholic church had control, but as we have also seen in the first couple of hundred years preceding the reformation the Catholic church had grown so decadent, so corrupt, the priest hood, even the papacy was corrupted beyond measure that there were people stirring in the seeds of the beginning reformation and it was inevitable that a Martin Luther sooner or later would come alone...
