Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon.
But if I have no love, I am a noisy gong or a tingling cymbal. Now Moffat uses the word love, where in the King James it uses the word charity and no in the Revised Standard it uses love too. Love is better than charity; I don't know why they didn't use it. People so often misunderstand the word love. They think it just means, well physical affection and sex, but love is an outgoing concern for the good and the welfare of others...
