Which sort of leads into what I wanted to cover in terms of the sermon today. Because back in Hebrews chapter 11, Hebrews chapter 11 in verse 13 we read of individuals who have been recounted here in Hebrews 11, Abel and Enoch and Noah and Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and were told in verse 13 Hebrews 11, these all died in faith not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were persuaded of and embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the Earth.
