In July, one fifth of the earth's population watched Prince Charles' Investiture. The BIG question now is, will the Monarchy survive the space age? And what would happen to Britain if there were no Monarchy? Caernarvon, Wales. The royal pomp, splendour and circumstance surrounding the recent Investiture of Prince Charles was indescribable. No nation on earth can execute royal State ceremonial with such flawless precision as the British. They have, of course, had more experience in this than any other nation. But why an Investiture?
