Psalm 35, again the title; "the Psalm of David" and here of course he starts off, "Plead my cause, O Eternal, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help". So he's depicting God here of course as a Warrior in the sense of you don't fight your battles for yourself, but God fights your battles for you. Course that's one of the things that's good to mark in the Old Testament if you're one who maybe dealing with the military draft in the future and that might involve women as well as men.
